MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Hill Country Antique Tractor & Engine Club (HCAT&EC) annual dues are $20 for an individual (age 16 and older)* and $30 for a family.*   The membership year for the local organization extends from one annual show to the next.  Any member who paid dues in 2008 has membership in HCAT&EC until the Club's annual show during the second weekend in June, 2009 (June 12 & 13).

Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association (EDGE&TA) annual dues are $9 ($4 for dues and $5 for third-party liability insurance).***  The national organization has a membership year which extends from April 15 to April 14 the following year.  HCAT&EC members who paid EDGE&TA dues in 2008 are covered through April 14, 2009, and must renew their EDGE&TA memberships by April 15 to be active EDGE&TA members and to be covered by EDGE&TA's third-party liability insurance after that date.  The EDGE&TA insurance does not cover an individual member or the member's property in any way; the insurance covers a spectator who is injured by the EDGE&TA member or a spectator's property that is damaged by an EDGE&TA member.  An individual must first be a member of an EDGE&TA Branch to qualify for membership in EDGE&TA.  HCAT&EC is EDGE&TA Branch 66.

*  Due to insurance requirements, a member between 12 and 16 years of age who has completed the Youth Driver Training Certification Program and possesses a Certification Card issued by EDGE&TA's National Safety Officer does not qualify for membership under a Family Membership and must have both an individual HCAT&EC membership and an EDGE&TA membership.

**  Parent(s) or Guardian with children under the age of 16 living in the same household.

***  To be eligible for an EDGE&TA membership, an individual must be a member of an EDGE&TA Branch.  HCAT&EC is Branch 66.  Third-party liability insurance is provided with EDGE&TA membership.

Membership rosters are sent to all members in August, along with the Club's newsletter.  A member may request a copy of the current roster at any time during the year by contacting Glenn Thompson.  The roster will be sent either by e-mail or by regular postal service, according to the preference of the requester.
