The Hill Country Antique Tractor & Engine Club (HCAT&EC) is a nonprofit organization that exists to preserve and disseminate information about old agricultural machines and methods and to offer an environment in which members can get together and have fun sharing ideas and experiences. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
  • Saturday, April 20th. Workday at the Clubs' site beginning about 9:00 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 23rd. Program Committee meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout Cabin.
  • Thursday, April 25th. Workday at the Club's site in the late afternoon.
  • Saturday, May 11th, HCAT&EC members are invited to display tractors and engines at the Pioneer Museum from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event commemorates Founders' Day.
  • Tuesday, May 28th. Program Committee meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Club's area at the Fairgrounds.
  • Friday, June 7th & Saturday, June 8th. Preliminary information regarding the 2013 Annual Show is now available at Annual Show. A 2013 Show Flyer is also available for downloading at 2013 Show Flyer (WORD) or 2013 Show Flyer (PDF).      The PDF file requires a special reader; this may be downloaded free from Adobe Reader.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • To view photos of the 2013 Bluebonnet Tractor Ride, click on 2013 Bluebonnet Tractor Ride Note: When the title frame appears, click on the bottom right-hand corner of the photo and a black Maltese cross in a yellow box will appear. Click on this cross and from then on each photo will fill the screen.
  • Note the large estate auction of antique tractors and other items at Hale Center, Texas, on May 4, 2013.
  • Fuller & Johnson Engines will be featured at the 2013 HCAT&EC Annual Show in June. Click on F&J Engines for information about these engines. Also, Allis-Chalmers Tractors will be featured. Click on  Allis-Chalmers Company for information about the company and AC Farm Tractors for information about specific models of Allis-Chalmers tractors.
  • HCAT&EC and the Pioneer Memorial Museum (Fredericksburg) will be coordinating efforts during coming months to provide educational events for the general public. Click on Pioneer Memorial Museum for information about the Museum.
  • Mike Greenwood of Marble Falls (830-385-2813) is looking for a pair of 12.5 x 28" tractor tires.
  • The Utopia FFA is looking for an Allis-Chalmers WD 45 parts tractor. If you know of one, please call Kirman Smith at 830-426-6775.
  • Beginning with the January meeting and continuing until further notice, monthly meetings will be held in the Girl Scout Cabin at 202 West Austin Street in Fredericksburg. The Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. and the General Membership at 6:30 p.m.
