What's Happening!
  • HCAT&EC now has a page on FaceBook. Anyone with a page on FaceBook should search under the name of the Club.
  • Members are invited to drive tractors in the parade during the Gillespie Country Fair. The parade is at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 27th. Anyone interested should unload in the parking lot of the Greater Life Christian Center at 106 South Edison by 8:30 a.m., as in previous years. For more information, contact Brian Roeder at (830) 889-0344. There will be a pot-luck luncheon in the Club's area after the parade.
  • Members are invided to drive tractors in a parade on September 4th during Harper's Annual Frontier Day. Although the parade will be at 5:00 p.m., the line-up will begin at 2:00 p.m. and judging will begin at 3:45 p.m. For more information contact Cliff Ingold at (830) 864-5754 or cliffrof@ktc.com
  • Members are also invited to participate in a parade and tractor show on September 18th at 9:00 a.m. at Stonewall to commemorate Stonewall's 150th Anniversary. Old vehicles of any kind will be welcome. For more information, please contact Fred Berg at  (830) 644-5566.

  • Antique Tractors are generally acknowledged to be those produced before1960, when John Deere issued its New Generation of tractors. At the June meeting, HCAT&EC approved a motion to recognize Classic Tractors--those at least 25 years old, but produced after 1960.

  •  Members  are reminded  that the  HCAT&EC  membership year extends from one annual show in June to the next and that an  EDGE&TA membership is not valid without an up-to-date membership in an EDGE&TA  branch. For more information, please click on MEMBERSHIP
